At Honaker Designs, you will find a reflection of passion for not only beauty but also practicality.

I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. The first time I set up shop was when I was about 5 years old. My neighbor friend and I folded and glued some paper into envelopes. We sat in her driveway hoping passers-by would want to stop and shop. We may have made a quarter or two... A little older and wiser now, I list my crafts for sale online. My mom, Liz Myers, contributes quilts and crocheted items as well. She taught me everything I know about the sewing machine! 

My mom and I love making hand-crafted quilts for our shop. You can find a size and color combination to fit any style. Handmade quilts are a classic gift idea that has made a fresh comeback for new babies and weddings. For the graduate in your life, a custom t-shirt quilt is a fantastic way to keep the memories of all those good times during high school or college. The t-shirt quilt is great for anyone who has a stack of sentimental shirts that are no longer being worn. Think: cozying up on the couch in 20 of your favorite comfy t-shirts.

My mom makes the most beautiful crochet afghans. They are sophisticated, charming, and lap-sized. We call them "lapghans." For the kitchen, try one of her crochet dish cloths. They are masters of messes and are very durable.
